Today is a lucky day right? 13 days to go ...

To celebrate the long weekend together and of course the beautiful weather we mainly just tried to relax and enjoy ourselves without acknowledging the things we need to do. We spent the morning at Boonesborough beach with Luke. The tide was very strong and it was kind of busy but we let him off leash and out he went into the water time and time again bringing us back sticks. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and we enjoyed watching him do what he does best, swim. Then we went to Evans Orchard and got some donuts and strawberries and checked out the Blues between the bridges concert going on. Our friend invited us to go down and watch his step dad's band perform at around 8, if we don't end up going we are going to cook out in the backyard =) I could get used to the sunshine, there's so many things to do when it's nice out! Since Brett is napping right now I am going to go through my checklist and get a few things checked off just so I feel productive. I hope that everyone is enjoying their weekend!
